Getting started
What is AI Experts KC?
AI Experts KC is an AI consulting and implementation firm based in Stilwell, Kansas, in southern Johnson County. We help businesses across the Kansas City metro find where AI pays off, build and integrate the tools, and train their teams.
What happens in the free AI Opportunity Assessment?
In 30 minutes, on site or on video, we walk through how work moves in your business and identify the processes where AI would save the most time or win the most revenue. You leave with a ranked list and a cost and payback estimate for each, in writing, the same day.
What size of business do you work with?
Most clients have 10 to 500 employees. Solo operators and larger companies are welcome, but the fixed-price packages are designed for owner-led businesses that need results without a long procurement.
Do we need to be technical to work with you?
No. We explain every choice in plain language, we build on the software you already use, and we train your team. Your job is to know your business; ours is to know the tools.
Cost and timing
How much does AI consulting cost in Kansas City?
With AI Experts KC the assessment is free, an AI Roadmap starts at $4,500, an implementation sprint starts at $12,000, a half-day workshop starts at $2,500, and ongoing support starts at $1,500 per month. All prices are fixed and quoted in writing before work begins.
How long does a first project take?
An AI Roadmap takes two to three weeks. A first implementation sprint takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to a working tool your team is trained on.
What return should we expect?
A typical first automation removes five to fifteen hours of staff time a week from a single process. At Kansas City wage levels that usually pays back a $12,000 sprint within six to twelve months, and we show the math in the assessment before you commit.
Data, privacy, and tools
Will our data be used to train AI models?
No. We configure business-tier tools (ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Claude for Work, and similar) with training turned off, and your documents stay in your own accounts.
Which AI tools do you use?
Whatever fits the job. Common choices are Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 shops, Google Gemini for Google Workspace shops, ChatGPT or Claude for drafting and analysis, and automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, or n8n for connecting systems. We have no reseller arrangements, so the recommendation is based on fit.
Can AI connect to our existing software?
Usually yes. Most CRMs, ERPs, practice-management, and accounting systems have an API or an export path. We confirm the specific integration during the assessment before quoting.
Is this safe for regulated industries such as law or healthcare?
Yes, with the right setup. For healthcare we only use vendors who sign a Business Associate Agreement. For law firms we follow the ABA guidance on confidentiality and keep client matter data inside the firm’s own systems. Every engagement includes a written AI-use policy for your staff.
Working together
Do you work on site?
Yes. We meet clients in their offices across the Kansas City metro, including Overland Park, Olathe, Lee’s Summit, Independence, Lenexa, Leawood, Shawnee, Blue Springs, Liberty, and the Northland. Remote works too.
Who actually does the work?
Adam Tank, the founder, scopes, builds, and trains on every engagement. There is no hand-off to a separate delivery team.
What if the tool does not work for us?
Every sprint has a written acceptance test agreed at kickoff. The final payment is due only when the tool passes it with your real data.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. Support retainers start at $1,500 per month and cover monitoring, fixes, monthly improvement hours, and a quarterly review with ownership. You can cancel any time.
